Emma helped Isabella put on one of pendants. "I think
it's a moonstone," she told the others. "I've seen pictures of them in
my Dad's rock collecting books."
"Oh, they're so elegant!" said Isabella, showing it to the others.
"I feel like a Princess."
"Speaking of being elegant," said Julia. "I'm getting tired of
being all dressed up. I really wish I could change out of this frou-frou
dress." Emma laughed and Isabella rolled her eyes. They were used to
Julia being a tomboy, but Emma actually thought the dresses their
mothers had made were really comfy. Plus, the dresses looked alike
without being exact copies, just like the three cousins.
"Let's all put on the necklaces and go show Aunt Cordelia,"
Isabella suggested. Emma did the clasp on Julia's while Isabella did
hers.
Then Emma remembered something. "Wait, a piece of paper fell out
with the necklaces," she told them, hunting around for the rolled up
piece of paper she had seen.
